We had a wonderful stay. Pawel is quick and easy to communicate with. The cleaning ladies that come everyday are nice and it's very convenient! It's a rustic Mexican style hacienda with a good location and value for money. We would love to come back!

This is a Beautiful home!!! . We have stay 3 x in this home and plan to come back in a year. Host is always helpful. The iguana's come with the home in the back yard. They are so Amazing to watch. It's your own private live jungle.

This house and location are amazing. First Victor the property manager was waiting for us at the airport the minute we got off the plane ready to help. The house is probably 5 minutes or less from the airport so no worries about a long trip once you land. The house is exactly how its pictured and advertised on VRBO , Air Condition in each sections of the house ( and they work great) We did not know what to expect on the pool size from the pictures but I'll tell you its bigger than it looks. The house is located on one of the main Avenues of the island so lots of traffic but the noise is no issue at all, honestly in the house you couldn't hear anything so don't let that bother you. The kitchen is great size and literally walking distance to MEGA the grocery store in town. The best part of this house is the location, everything in downtown, from restaurants to shopping are right out of the front door. Plenty of place to out around the house and a nice convenient store across the street just in case you need to grab something quick. the security at the house is great not that you need to worry about anything as we found walking around with 12/15 year old kids no problem. We highly recommend this property and most likely will book soon for 2022.

Wow. This AirBnb is unequaled and really made our vacation. The communication was super easy and quick right from the get go. Victor was incredibly accommodating and answered any of our inquiries within minutes whenever we had one! The neighbourhood is safe and conveniently located nearby everything you could possibly need (bars, restaurants, grocery store, coffee shop, convenient store right across the street). To top it off, the casa itself is clean, just glorious and quaint! The whole place just made us feel at ease and truly on vacation. I would 100% book this exact same place again if I had the opportunity to!

I've stayed at several houses with enjoy cozumel and the houses are always wonderful. Even better though, is the amazing service from the company. They've responded immediately whenever I've had an issue or question and they will help you plan any activity that you'd like to do. Do not hesitate to find a property through them. This house was perfect for us, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms plus an outside bathroom for the yard. The pool was great and there's a nice upstairs patio but I spent all my time in the garden watching the iguanas (no worries, they won't bother you at all but they did like the mango that I left for them).

WOW! What a beautiful property that is absolutely perfect. Plenty of space, working appliances, and felt like home. The daily maid service is so nice and we loved having a big, spacious kitchen and living room to be together. Great location and everything worked fabulously.

We really enjoyed our stay. We walked to the ferry and ventured out to playa del carmen one day but spent most days by the pool. The only downside was the patio area around the pool is uneven rough concrete. Other than that, everything g was perfect and comfortable.

We had a great time during our stay. The house was amazing, we loved the decor and the cleanliness. The location was convenient and we felt safe at all times. It was so nice to go about our business and to have our own space to come back to. The pool was wonderful and even with the hustle bustle of the city right outside of the gate, the house offers a privacy and your own little oasis. Victor was wonderful and no matter what we needed or when, he responded quickly and efficiently! Our house keeper did a terrific job. All details big and small were thought of. Cozumel is a beautiful place with so much to offer and renting this house was just the icing on the cake!

We all had such a great time and loved the house. There were 6 of us and there was still an empty bedroom! The house was very charming and we spent an evening in playing games abd we all fit comfortably in the loving room. I would absolutely stay again with a large group. Our housecleaner never came which was disappointing but otherwise it was a great house and great communication!

Pawel's place was perfect for our group of 7 visiting Cozumel for Ironman. The space allowed for each of us to have privacy and space. Victor was my main contact and he was super responsive and fixed any issues that came up with the house. Cleaning service was available whenever we wanted it. They also had jugs of water available. Since we were there for a race, we were careful not using water from the faucet and went through quite a bit of the filtered water and they were ready to provide us more jugs. The pool hangout area was private and a great space to socialize. The location was also ideal and right on the bike course of IM Cozumel, allowing our friends to use it as a base and cheer for some of us competing. Thank you again for everything and we had a fantastic stay!

The home is located in a great area, has a hospital next door (no noise I heard) and a convenience store across the street (Oxxo). The pool was the real highlight. I will agree with another reviewer that while the patio area is beautiful, it is uneven to walk on so care is needed. The palapa is great and the outdoor 1/2 bath is fabulous. The kitchen was fine and we had what we needed. The AC in the living room worked great, as well as in the bedrooms. The place was charming and spacious. I'd return. It's great for large families.

Great place to stay with family. The only thing that was a little difficult was the state of the tile / stones around the pool, you always had to wear your shoes when walking around the pool. Other then that this place is great and I would do it again when I get the chance.

What a perfect place for a family vacation! The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the air conditioning works in every room, the showers are great. There's a huge grocery store (Mega) nearby. They supply towels but we brought our own beach towels. This place in particular has a lot of Mexican character. The pool is lovely, and it's a short drive to everywhere on the island. Taxis are easy to get. Teresa cleans the house and is very thorough and friendly. Easily sleeps 10. I highly recommend! Much better than an all-inclusive, we've been that route many times.

Great big house, close to everything.Awesome pool and yard. Suitable for entertaining. Cleaning maid every second day was nice for our vacation. Lots of iguanas, geckos and birds!

This we an excellent experience. We have travelled all over mexico over the last 15 years and this was one of my favorite places I have stayed. It was very organized and easy. Lots of staff if you needed anything or had any questions they were always readily available (even on a holiday we had a question and within an hour received a response). The house is in a nice area close to a supermarket, corner store etc but the natural trees in the yard leave you feeling like you are in the jungle (with several oversized iguanas nearby). Catching a cab was easy just walk out your door. We did activities all over the island and we probably could have walked to some of the things but it was easier to cab it with young kids. The kitchen was a real bonus and well stocked with basically everything you need. No laundry washer but we took our laundry to a place around the corner and it was all done by the end of the day for around $10 (cant get any easier). We travelled as a family of 4 (2 kids) with the grandparents and the layout and rooms worked out perfectly. There was an extra bedroom outside but it is more separate from the house so we didnt use that. Fantastic walkout rooftop deck was LOVED by the grandparents and pool area deck for the rest of us. We were able to get hot water all the time (which is not always the case in Mexico). Housekeeping was daily and really detailed and so we never had any bugs (hard to not have ant problems travelling in mexico with young kids). Pool cleaner came about once a week which was also an unexpected bonus! Lots of windows and gates, doors and windows locked very securily so you never felt uneasy. Every bedroom had cupboards, drawers and storage. I would recomend this place and definitely use it again.

We were a group of 10 people who spent 5 days, over the Christmas period. It was brilliant. Big enough for everyone to live comfortably. We were located really well, close to a super market and we could easily go an do day trips. The BBQ and pool here really good and here is plenty of room to socialize in. I would go back. "This house is centrally located with a very nice quiet pool in the back yard. The house sits on a busy street but because of the fence, you'd never know it. Pawel had wheelchair ramps built for me which made it work perfectly. This is my second time staying here and certainly not my last! Victor and all staff were wonderful. If you want something that feels like home, is centrally located to food and the grocery store- this place is for you1"

"We are 2 couples in our 50s and we really enjoyed this place for 12 days. It's a large comfortable house and well situated very close to a large supermarket and about 10 mins walk from downtown. The house had everything we needed, including decent internet speed (note that it would be great if the router was moved closer to the middle of the house so the signal would be available in the backyard, especially under the gazebo where we spent a lot of time). The house has a complete kitchen, large comfy beds, a small safe for your valuables, several bathrooms with showers, including one outside near the pool, and a charcoal BBQ so we did not miss anything. I would say that it's a family-friendly place, but two important things you need to be aware of. 1) the backyard can be a little awkward for very young children because the patio around the pool is quite large, and is made of natural stones and cement that are VERY uneven. Young unsupervised children could fall while playing and hurt themselves. 2) one of my friend got a bad cut under her foot due to broken ceramic tiles inside the pool. This should be fixed ASAP, especially that another guest had also reported this a few months back. I also have to talk about Victor, one of the Guest Manager. Victor was just great! He was available all the time to answer our questions (via email and text messages), gave great advice, organized things for us (car rental, fishing trip, taxi, etc.) making sure that we totally enjoyed our stay. So other than the two issues mentioned, it is a very nice place and we would certainly not hesitate to go back. Hope you enjoy this place as much as we did. "

Somos dos parejas de unos 50 años y realmente disfrutamos de este lugar durante 12 días. Es una gran casa confortable y bien situado muy cerca de un gran supermercado y a unos 10 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad. La casa tenía todo lo que necesitábamos, incluyendo internet de alta velocidad decente (nota para el propietario, sería genial si el router se trasladó más cerca del centro de la casa, de manera que la señal estaría disponible en el patio trasero, especialmente bajo el cenador donde pasamos mucho tiempo). La casa tiene una cocina completa, con camas grandes y cómodas, una pequeña caja fuerte para sus objetos de valor, varios baños con duchas, incluyendo una en el exterior cerca de la piscina, y una barbacoa de carbón, así que no se pierda nada. Yo diría que es un lugar familiar, pero dos cosas importantes que hay que tener en cuenta. 1) el patio trasero puede ser un poco incómodo para niños muy pequeños porque el patio alrededor de la piscina es bastante grande, y está hecho de piedras naturales y cemento, que son muy desiguales. Los niños pequeños pueden caer mientras sin supervisión jugando y herirse. 2) Uno de mis amigos se un mal corte bajo su pie debido a baldosas de cerámica rota en el interior de la piscina. Esto debería fijarse LO ANTES POSIBLE porque otra huésped también había denunciado este unos meses atrás. También tengo que hablar de Victor, uno de los director de huéspedes. Victor fue genial! Él estaba disponible todo el tiempo para responder a nuestras preguntas (a través de correo electrónico y mensajes de texto), nos dio muy buenos consejos, organizado cosas (alquiler de coche, excursiones de pesca, taxi, etc. ) asegurarse de que disfrutamos completamente de nuestra estancia. Así que aparte de las dos cuestiones mencionadas, es un lugar muy bonito, y no dudaríamos en volver. Espero que disfruten tanto como nosotros.

Hacienda Sombrero was perfect for our group. The house is beautiful inside and well-maintained. It was conveniently located while not too loud. The pool was nice and well-kept, and the yard was pleasant to sit in. The cleaning service was very friendly and professional and very attentive. Victor was wonderful and very responsive to all our questions. The only possible downside was that the a/c in the living room sometimes had trouble keeping up during midday with all the in-and-out that our group had, but it was never too bad. We will definitely consider staying here again and heartily recommend it!

We appreciated the proximity to grocery stores and restaurants. The house was comfortable, we felt safe, and our things were secure when we were away. Victor maintained good communication throughout our stay and he gave good recommendations for restaurants and attractions. The pool was awesome! We'd recommend staying here and we'll look forward to returning!

We stayed the month of April 2016 at Hacienda Sombrero. We had a good sized group so the place was perfect. Only a few blocks from pretty much everything. Nice relaxing atmosphere and great service from the staff. Victor was very helpful and always available. Just a text or email away and went above what expected. First time in Cozumel, but won't be our last.

So, you want to stay in Cozumel You've come to the right place! Hacienda Sombrero was quaint , functional and most of all was the perfect setting for our Cozumel vacation. This Hacienda was well situated, close to amenities while being completely private. The well furnished kitchen allowed us to cook and prepare food with ease. The pool, as we all agreed, was even nicer than he pictures! Also the TV has been upgraded, plugged in usb cards to check out the days photos! Thanks so much! Dave! Overall this was a good "bang for the buck"!

We are going to write a detailed review because we travel every year with our college age children, this was our best vacation experience. Hacienda Sombrero is gorgeous, with spacious rooms, terraces and backyard patio for gathering as well as enjoying privacy. Well stocked kitchen with a large dining room and living area, with Wifi, cable TV and music. We ended our days in the beautiful backyard pool area, with plenty of sun chairs to gather and share the day's adventures. The entire home was cool for a restful nights sleep after a day of exploring the island. Perfect safe location, walking distance to great restaurants/shops and grocery store, at any time of day. We didn't rent a car because it was easy to get a taxi. Pawel provided us with valuable recommendations in advance, as a result we enjoyed perfect beach days and fabulous meals. Victor greeted us with a warm welcome and was available throughout our stay for any questions. We highly recommend Hacienda Sombrero, we loved our stay, our most memorable family vacation. Pawel and Victor were great. I contacted them before trip to let them know that there would be a couple wheelchairs staying in the house and they built ramps over all the steps! Made a huge difference. THANKS! The house was a 10 minute walk from downtown making it very convenient. Everything was clean and the air-conditioning worked flawlessly. We all had a wonderful time and will likely be back again soon. Thanks Pawel and Victor! PS: The locks on the gate are a bit tricky until you figure out how they work. May be worth asking about.

I stayed in the house with 3 friends and we loved it. It was very clean and comfortable. We had no complaints. We really loved the backyard area and patio upstairs. Perfect for yoga and morning breakfast. The neighborhood was very comfortable and close to everything. We loved being able to walk around town, walk to see the sunset by the ocean, and also catch a taxi right outside our doorstep. Both the host and Victor were wonderful to work with. They went out of their way to be informative and make sure we had what we needed. We had a small issue with a toilet while we were there and it was fixed within an hour or so. Highly recommend this house and Cozumel!

We rented Pawel's home for the Ironman Cozumel and couldn't have been more happy! We arrived rather late, but the property manager met us at the ferry terminal and made sure we got a cab. He gave the cab driver clear directions and met us at the home to give us keys, go over features about the home and make some recommendations about places to go. While we were there, the blender broke and the manager immediately purchased a new one and dropped it off. He checked on us throughout the week to make sure everything was working and we were happy. The location of this house for Ironman Cozumel was PERFECT! 1 1/2 blocks from the finish line. As soon as I finished the race, I was able to walk home and walk in the pool. We would definitely stay at this home again!

Pawel was great. He explained the in's and out's of the house when we arrived and didn't linger which allowed us to get settled in fast and easily. He also replied promptly to my texts when I had a question. We were a group of 4 triathletes and each had our own room with comfortable beds and air conditioning. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The pool was great to chill out in after spending time out in the heat and humidity. The house is behind a nice big wall with a secure gate. This provided great privacy and we felt completely safe while in and out of the home. Pawel also provided water for us for the entire stay. An added bonus is that there is an avocado tree in the backyard. Providing us with about 3-4 big, fresh and delicious avocado daily. Also the grocery stores were only a 5min walk away. I would stay here again :)

The house is beautiful! Victor was the manager during our stay and was easy to contact and addressed any issues promptly during our stay! Our first morning there something was broken with the water pump for the hot water...I called Victor...he immediately had 2 gentlemen there to fix it...they worked in the pouring rain until the issue was resolved! I was in need of an iron, I asked our housekeeper Theresa, she notified Victor that I needed an iron. We returned from shopping in town and there was a brand new iron and ironing board on the front porch! Victor even assisted me with extending our rental car for an extra day! Location is just down the street east of Margaritaville and Mega (grocery store), very convienent! My husband and I both agree we will stay at this property again!

Loved this place! We were met at the airport in Cozumel and followed the manager to the house in our rental car. Kitchen had everything for cooking and the house and was about half a mile from the strip with all the tourist spots. Would recommend. We had 7 people staying for a wedding.

Terrific place to stay. Met property agent, Victor, on arrival for keys and tour of house. Victor was very friendly and professional. He checked in with us throughout the stay and was there to help arrange departure. Property management was great to work with and made our rental experience very enjoyable. House is spacious, clean with a well equipped kitchen with modern appliances, excellent air conditioning, with all linens, towels and paper products. Pool was great and well maintained. While on a main street it was very quiet. Close to grocery shopping, two big stores within a few blocks and a convenience store across the street. A fifteen minute walk to the center of town for restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. No washer and dryer but there is a laundromat just down the street if you really need it. We really liked the Mexican look and feel of the house and can't wait to return!

We loved our stay at the beautiful Hacienda Sombrero. Very good location by the park, the Mega and the ocean. All the members of the staff were prompt, accommodating and professional. All of our requests we're happily met. Our houskeeper was very friendly and was always smiling. She kept our hacienda sparkling clean. She was a very hard worker. The house was very spacious and accommodated our large crew of 9 people. We had enough seating wherever we decided to gather. The beds were clean and very comfortable. Outside we had plenty of sun chairs and space to enjoy the pool and the beautiful backyard. Beautiful flowers and Palm trees surrounded us. It was very private and quiet at nighttime. We also enjoyed the large palapa in the backyard. I can't say enough great things about this wonderful house. We are looking forward to booking this Hacienda for an additional week for our next family vacation.

My son Nick and I stayed at the Hacienda Sombrero and our experience was excellent. The house is beautiful and spacious; we only occupied 2 of the 4 bedrooms....we may come back next year with more family. We were out diving every day and it was a really nice to come home and relax at the house before dinner. We enjoyed the pool a lot and the upstairs terrace was a fabulous place for early an early morning coffee. The house is located a short walk to downtown and some really great restaurants on street 5 i.e. Kondesa, Le Chef, Machette; Del Sur, etc. We've been coming to Cozumel for years and this was easily one of the finest places we've stayed in. The property manager Victor, was hospitable and very attentive to any needs we had and the housekeeper - Fernanda? - was terrific! Thanks again. Pete
