At this large 5-bedroom Cozumel villa, you'll wake up every day just steps from Cozumel's famous turquoise ocean, and a sandy beach that stretches for miles on either side. Take a morning walk along the shore, and in the evening, choose your spot on the terraces to watch the sky burst into its sunset palette.

With 5,500 square feet, Villa Dos is large and in charge. Teens will have a blast exploring two living rooms, two large terraces, three kitchens, and six bathrooms–not to mention a spacious infinity pool and deck.

The villa is ideal for large groups. Feeling social? Host a pool get-together at the ground-floor deck with a barbecue, lounge chairs, freshwater shower, and garden. Or want some restorative "me time"? Five of six bedrooms are private suites with their own bathrooms; some even have kitchenettes or sitting areas.

Furnished in beautiful local style with traditional Mexican tiles and ceramic decorations, the villa's two ample floors divide the sleeping areas, so you never feel crowded. On the first floor, you'll find four bedrooms. The Honeymoon Suite opens right onto the pool area and beach. It has its own kitchenette, king size bed, and TV. Apart from that, there's a three bedroom suite with its own entrance (ideal for a large family), also with its own kitchenette. Bedroom #2 has garden views and two single beds which can be joined to create a king bed or can be used as day beds if you prefer to use this room as a living area. Bedrooms #4 and #5 are off this room and have a king or queen bed, garden views, and en-suite bathrooms. There's also a spacious terrace on this floor with tables and chairs, facing the ocean.

On the second floor, there's a living area that looks straight out of a British mystery novel with colorful Asian and Mexican-inspired decor, leather chairs, and soft comfortable couches. French doors lead to another oceanfront terrace. Dine in style at two glass tables which seat 8 in total, or sit at the tiled breakfast bar, where there are four more seats. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare delicious ceviche or local recipes--and since it's just one of three kitchens/kitchenettes here, it will never feel like too many cooks in one place.

This floor holds two more bedrooms: Bedroom #5, with an ocean view and two queen beds (plus a spacious bathtub and shower!) and Bedroom #6, the master bedroom, with a garden view, king size bed, and a large walk-in shower.

Although you could spend a whole week just enjoying the house and beach out front (it's just next to San Francisco beach, one of Cozumel's finest), you're also in a great location to explore the rest of the island. Walk to nearby beach clubs where you can rent kayaks, windsurf, or eat a seafood snack. Or, at 11 miles south of downtown Cozumel, you're close enough for a drive into town to try local restaurants and shop at the market, and you're right near some of the island's best dives and snorkeling! Make memories at Punta Sur, a state park three miles from the house, with amazing snorkeling, white sand, and wild crocodiles.
