Description

Ten miles south from downtown San Miguel de Cozumel, Residencias Reef 8220 is located on one of the best beaches of the island. This second-floor condo is just a few steps from one of the two heated pools on the property and a short stroll to the wide, sandy beach. Lounge under the palm trees or take a nap under a thatched roof palapa; this is your dream vacation come true. You can walk for miles on the soft white sand or stop at one of the seaside restaurants nearby to taste the local cuisine. For more fun at the beach, you have free use of our hard-shell, two-seater kayak. You will never get tired of the Caribbean’s clear, blue water.

Cozumel is a diver’s paradise. Residencias Reef is just minutes from some of Cozumel’s best-known dive sites and there are four piers nearby that dive boats use for pick-up and drop-off. Ask your dive operator which pier they will use.

The tasteful modern décor and comfortable furniture of this one-bedroom condo invite you in to relax. The living room sofa opens to a queen-size bed to accommodate two more people. The entertainment center is equipped with a 42" plasma TV with Sony Dolby digital surround sound, DVD/CD player, and Dish Network satellite with English programming. WiFi and phone calls to the US and Canada are free with your rental. The zoned air-conditioning units will keep you cool in every room.

The wall to ceiling windows open onto your private balcony overlooking the pool area, the gardens, and the beach. After a day in the sun, settle back in the soaker tub on the balcony and enjoy the ocean view and the sunset with your favorite drink in hand, then late dine al fresco.

The kitchen is well equipped with modern stainless steel appliances and ready for you to prepare your meals. A gas grill on the balcony is available for barbecuing. However, if you are off “cooking duty” during your vacation, ask for our Cook Service, so you can savor the local cuisine in the comfort of your home. In addition to the two stools at the breakfast bar, the dining table will accommodate four guests.

The spacious master suite has a king-size bed and ample closet space. The ensuite bathroom features a beautifully tiled, walk-in shower and the double vanities provide ample space to prep for a night out.

Maid service is provided every two days, except Sunday. The washer and dryer are available any time after maid service hours.

Paradise is here! Beautiful complex with stunning views, quiet grounds, friendly staff. (Karen G)
What a gem! This was our first time visiting Cozumel and we fell in love with it. Beautiful water, beautiful sunsets, fantastic food and the kindest people. This condo was perfect for us. It had everything we needed, even a lovely gift basket to welcome us. The complex is beautifully landscaped and the pools are amazing. We even snorkled just off the beach at the complex and saw plenty of fish. Renting a car allowed us the freedom to explore the island (Chen Rio beach is a must!) Check-in and out process was very easy. We even arranged a day trip to Coba, Tulum and a cenote swim through a contact of the property manager- excellent guide named Emy. White sand, blue skies, warm turquoise water, tropical breezes and relaxation - what more do you need? This is paradise and we can't wait to come back!

Great stay in paradise! (Greg M)
We had a great stay and the condo was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The complex was very well maintained, and the location is quiet and tranquil. We went kayaking and the kayak is a very nice amenity, really solid and stable on the water. Carlos and Charlies is a great spot for lunch and drinks, walking distance from the condo. We would definitely stay here again!se and we can't wait to come back!

A Tranquil Holiday (Margot B)
We had a wonderful stay in Michael's beautiful condo. It faces both the beach and the larger of the two pools, and the large balcony is perfectly situated to give a lovely view of the ocean and sunsets.The condo is spacious and very clean. We asked Fulvio, the property manager to stock a few things for our arrival as we would be tired from our journey and that was done. (I advise that you might consider this, as the supermarket is a taxi ride into town.) We mainly made our own simple meals in the very well equipped kitchen, and treated ourselves to a special Valentine's dinner at a lovely restaurant. The other guests were friendly, but never overbearing and there was always lots of chaise lounges at both the pool and the beach. The pools are pristine, by the way. They are cleaned every morning. The sweet maid came twice and was always efficient. Communication with owner and property manager is very easy. We really had a lovely time and hope to return.

Perfect location 20mins from Downtown (Theresa G)
Loved the location since I didn’t want to be in the heart of all the tourist attractions in the downtown area. Rented a car from the airport, which was easy and affordable. The apartment is in a gated community which made me feel very safe traveling solo. The apartment was beautifully maintained and had everything I needed to cook. A lovely gift basket of goodies on arrival and many extras that I usually have to go out and buy for my cooking needs were provided. Everything about this accommodation was well thought out appreciated. I also dove with two dive shops on the island; my pick and drop off at the dock was easy and seamless. Definitely an easy choice for me and will stay here again if I return to the island.

Luxury in paradise (Robert J)
This is the first VRBO my wife and I have stayed in and it certainly has set the bar very high! We definitely plan to book this unit again next year! The unit is very well appointed and furnished. The grounds are exceptional and very well maintained. Staff is friendly and informative. We particularly liked the location as it is centrally located between the hustle and bustle of downtown (about 15 minutes north) and the sedate, laid back island life to the south. Fulvio, the property manager, was extremely helpful and responsive to assure our stay was everything we expected. If you plan to explore beyond the complex, We recommend renting a vehicle during your entire stay for easy access to town and all the island has to offer. The complex itself is very quiet and never felt crowded. We bought groceries for breakfasts and took appetizer lunches at Carlos & Charlie’s just down the beach. Dinners were in town at many excellent restaurants (Rolandi’s was our favorite). Snorkeling and diving is readily available. We spent a day in Tulum and Playa. Contact Emilia Genchi for those arrangements. She is truly a delight. The best thing we can say about our stay is “thanks for your hospitality” and “we’ll be back”! Bob &Teresa

Home away from home! (Marisa H)
Very grateful to have the opportunity to stay at condo 8220 on a last minute trip to our favorite diving destination. The property was perfect for us. We were much impressed that the grill never looked used and the benefits of the purified water to use at our disposal. The blender for my morning smoothies was heavenly along with the full size appliances. The grounds was absolutely stunning and the pool area was peaceful and calm. We now have a new home away from home when we return to the island. Also the recommendation for the massage therapist was priceless. Best therapeutic massage we have received on a vacation and being divers..we needed therapeutic! Thank you so much for opening your home to us. We will be back this fall!

Returning to Cozumel after a 17-year hiatus, we stayed at Michael’s condo over 4 nights, including New Years Eve. Real ya terrific unit, excellent kitchen setup, really quality, firm bed and a lovely balcony with a BBQ grill, which worked perfectly. Great location on Playa San Francisco, easy to get to San Miguel to get food or drink! Highly recommend. Fulvio (local property manager) and Michael highly attentive and very easy to work with; arrival and departure a breeze! Thank you!

Perfect Vacation (Douglass B)
We had always stayed at the all inclusive next door but decided to go VRBO at Residents Reef 8820. The booking process was easy. Communication with the owner and the property manager was fast and easy. The condo had everything you could think of including beach towels. The maid came every other day which was just right. Perfect family getaway condo (Ronald A)
We normally stay at an all inclusive hotel but this time was different due to our new born daughter and we needed all the convenience of a home without sacrificing the luxury of a hotel and I think our stayed at this place was perfect for our family. Communication with the property manager was great and prompt so I appreciate that. My son loved the condo because he felt right at home and we had all the amenities a house can provide. Overall I recommend staying at this condo and I’m sure you will love it too.

Superbly equipped Seaside Condo (Kim T)
We enjoyed a lovely week in this condo. It is perfectly-placed for a quiet beach is beautiful (although footwear is advised to cross the shallows). Each of 2 swimming pools have covered reading / eating areas with large tables, as does the rooftop deck (perfect for a sundown supper). The condo is very nicely furnished, and the kitchen completely equipped, including even a coffee grinder. It includes a private deck with BBQ and whirlpool bath. Both the owner and property manager were immediately responsive when we reached out with a minor query. If you are a diver, dive boats can pick you up from the pier of the hotel next door. After-dive equipment rinsing by the pool includes a fresh water tank and shower.

I love residencia’s reef. This was my second stay here. The secluded location is what I come for. It is not in town, it has great snorkeling right out front. The condo was spotless and comfortable. Thank you so much ? I hope I Can return soon.

The Perfect location for Diving (Tammy B)
The condo has everything you could ask for, and then some. A bit far from town, but not when you rent a car. It is a quiet and well maintained condo complex with many resort like amenities, but much more laid back. Perfect for us. There are a couple of nearby places you can walk to for dinner and drinks. Or we just drove to some more exceptional dining. The dive boat picked us right up at the Secrets Pier and it was a short boat ride to some of the best diving on the island. The perfect view and gorgeous sunsets!
